Now, this is not completely true, but if you look at a glass of water under a magnifying glass, you'll see that it has some distinct types of mineral s.It doesn't matter whether you have a water glass on a table, a glass of water floating in your bathtub, or a glass of water in a bottle - this is what I'm talking about. You see, these various forms of minerals and salts have a unique range of chemical behavior, and the fact that they all are water only makes this more important to understand.Solids that dissolve or are dissolved in water include things like glass, tannic acid, sugar, coffee, white wine, and wine by-products. On the other hand, fluids that dissolve or are dissolved in water include everything from fish guts to rain drops. And remember, the two are not equal.One of the most common misconception of chemistry is that only liquids can be suspended in water. Well, it's true that the solids, like glass, can't be dissolved, but liquids can. And not only can they be suspended but they can also be moved. Since liquids are easily dispersed in water, they are essentially moving freely through it.In conclusion, suspension exa mples and Chemistry are a very important concept to understand. It's certainly not as complicated as many people make it out to be, and by understanding the physics behind it, you can really make a difference in the quality of your water.
